Happy Reading #3

Hello!
Welcome to the third batch of my reading routine. It has been so loongg, I didn't post something about books. I have something more important right now, so my reading routine has lef out awhile from my life.

Those books (Inferno excluded) have been in my list since July 2021. I've read 3 of them and I will write the "standalone" review later. First of all, I share you some hints about my four new books.

1. The Craftsman (by Sharon Bolton)
When I found this book in BBW, I was honestly intrigued by the sypnosis. This book has some exciting elements, which are witchcraft and mystery. It look promising, thereby this book will be the last one I read.

2. The Fourth Monkey (J.D.Baker)
This one is the first book from The First Monkey series. The book focused on the mystery of a death of infamous criminal. The duo detective in this case and the rest of team tried to find the truth behind the death, is  the criminal that they really seek after for a long time, or just another trick. This novel has unique style of writing. It combine the past and the present in which the past told about the criminal childhood. My review in this link below: (wait for it!!)

3. Children of Earth and Sky
I had to admit that I haven't finished this book until now. When I started to read, I have a feeling this book is hard to read. But, I could manage it, even I could read 150 pages just in a week. After that, I lost my interest and I hardly continued to read. I just managed to read 50 pages more after my first experience of reading this book. The book actually offers good premise. It is an alternative world (or meta-universe??) when some of countries and events have similarity with the real ones. Taking it simple, this book just change the name of some real countries and the people with different and new names, but the characteristics and the hystory events do not. The events told in this book is about the era after Ottoman empire and after the conflict between Venice, Croatia, Turkey, and some of countries in that region were ended (If I am not wrong, it was in QuO status). I want to try learn hystory even it takes in brand new name and places (?), that's why I bought this book.  But, huaa...yeah you can read my review later if I can finish this.

4. Dark Matter
Who does not know this book?? Whoo?? If you still does not know, you just left out from this world. This book is the best one in science fiction area. Again, Crouch nailed it. I want to compare Dark Matter and Recursion in my next review. Personally, I like Recursion more, but Dark Matter is still magnificent. I hope there will be the movie hahaha. Dark Matter told about a psychic teacher got ambushed and he tossed in a place that very different from what he knows. Not just a place, but all of world he knows all gone. What happen next? Read my review in this link below: (wait for it -say it with Barney from HIMYM voice)

The last, good book, with good coffee, are just like a best friend for you! take a book and start reading! have a nice day :)

TV SHOW SCI-FI, MYSTERY, & SUPERNATURAL REVIEW! #3

Part 3 (Castle Rock, Undone, Maniac, Channel Zero) Again, having fun ride with me!! Let’s go Castle Rock  Castle Rock adapted from Stephen King’s novels. Castle Rock's popularity was rising after It, a movie that adapted also from Stephen King's novel . Castle Rock season one is my favorite than the second because the story is more scary and layered. It combines horror, mystery, and a little bit of science fiction so well. At first, it was more horror and mystery. A police found a strange man in a cage. The strange man gives several unlucky events to the people in Castle Rock. He called as the devil. But, who is he actually? The performance of Bill Skarsgard is never disappointed. He shows one of his best performances besides his performance as Pennywise in It. At the end of season one, the twist unfolds. This was when the story become more into science-fiction and supernatural. The second season is much different than the first; there are dead people becoming zombies and the...
