The Bridge or Bron or Broen is a Sweden-Denmark Series. The story started from the phenomenal bridge which connects Denmark and Sweden, The Oresund Bridge. Every season has different crime cases, but the cases usually started from that bridge. Therefore, the two main characters cooperated to solve the cases. There is Saga who is a Swedish, and Martin who is Danish. They have different personalities, so make the story become more lively because of the chemistry that two.
Saga has Asperger syndrome, so she has a unique attitude than a usual person. She is always to the point, hardly to empathize with other people feeling, lack of social awareness, etc. All of Asperger syndrome characteristics are gotten into her (and absolutely because of her remarkable acting). The other one, Martin is a calm person, but He irritated with Saga’s behavior. He sometimes looked problematic too (you will know after watching it continuously, it’s hard to explain).
The first episode of season one told about the half-cut corpse which was found at Oresund Bridge. After that, the story goes to the other corpses and the other accidents. In the first season, the main story will be focused on the killer who terror people in Malmo. The killer somehow communicated his mission by a journalist. Then, several terrors happened in Malmo, started from the corpse at the bridge, the bomb in journalist car, some mystery death cases, kidnapping actions, etc. Each terror or killing attack always happened because of the main purpose. In the first season, the killer wanted to attack the wealth and power person because they made some disadvantages to society. In the first season, there are some twists in the end.
The second season has the same pattern as the first season. There are some cases and attacks, and it always started at Oresund Bridge. Saga and Martin had to work together again, even though they often had some clashes in the first season and the painful past that left from season one (ups Spoiler haha). In the second season, the attack coordinated by a vandalism gang and is directed into the other thing that viewers, like usual, couldn’t guess what really is.
This series has four seasons, unfortunately, I only watched two first seasons. In the third and fourth seasons, the stories become darker; it focused on the main character’s story background, especially Saga. If season one and two focused more on Martin's personal life, especially his family, in season three and four, we will watch more about the mystery of Saga. In season one and two, there will be some conflicting dilemmas in Martin’s side story. It’s associated with Martin’s family tragedy (it revealed at the end of season one), and Martin’s wish to take revenge which is emerged because of that [SPOILER]. So, this is why I took the motto about revenge (hehe).
After I explained much about the plot, then I am going to criticize the character and the other series’ element. The chemistry between Saga and Martin could be drawn clearly. They had a love and hate relationship. They care enough to each other, but it didn’t go well because of some events happened. The plot story and mystery is great. Luckily, the mystery always ended in one season (Except the mystery of the character’s background). I would say the mysteries in this series are complex, solid, and remarkable; it’s hard to find a plot hole. There are some twists too and each episode always gave the viewers some clues to finish the mysteries. I love how the mysteries could link to each other and it could solve accordingly.
In fact, Bron inspired the other countries to adapt to this series. USA and German-Austria made this series with a similar title, The Bridge (but they change into their native language). They have a similar story; the first case found at the bridge or there are two detectives. Unfortunately, I don’t watch the other Bridge series, so I couldn’t tell it anymore. Therefore, if you like complex crime and mystery, you should watch this.

MY FAVORITE SCENES [SPOILER]:

Their relationship is worth to watch, love it.

Actually, i don't know where the city is (Denmark or Sweden). But, i adore the Scandinavian City

Last episode (1) has always a tension, and...tragedy

Last episode (2) has always touchable moments, tension, and...other tragedy

The unique and memorable case

TV SHOW SCI-FI, MYSTERY, & SUPERNATURAL REVIEW! #3

Part 3 (Castle Rock, Undone, Maniac, Channel Zero) Again, having fun ride with me!! Let’s go Castle Rock  Castle Rock adapted from Stephen King’s novels. Castle Rock's popularity was rising after It, a movie that adapted also from Stephen King's novel . Castle Rock season one is my favorite than the second because the story is more scary and layered. It combines horror, mystery, and a little bit of science fiction so well. At first, it was more horror and mystery. A police found a strange man in a cage. The strange man gives several unlucky events to the people in Castle Rock. He called as the devil. But, who is he actually? The performance of Bill Skarsgard is never disappointed. He shows one of his best performances besides his performance as Pennywise in It. At the end of season one, the twist unfolds. This was when the story become more into science-fiction and supernatural. The second season is much different than the first; there are dead people becoming zombies and the...

Happy Reading #3

Hello! Welcome to the third batch of my reading routine. It has been so loongg, I didn't post something about books. I have something more important right now, so my reading routine has lef out awhile from my life.  Those books (Inferno excluded) have been in my list since July 2021. I've read 3 of them and I will write the "standalone" review later. First of all, I share you some hints about my four new books.  1. The Craftsman (by Sharon Bolton) When I found this book in BBW, I was honestly intrigued by the sypnosis. This book has some exciting elements, which are witchcraft and mystery. It look promising, thereby this book will be the last one I read. 2. The Fourth Monkey (J.D.Baker) This one is the first book from The First Monkey series. The book focused on the mystery of a death of infamous criminal. The duo detective in this case and the rest of team tried to find the truth behind the death, is  the criminal that they really seek after for a long time, or ju...
